How the per-word rates work
Counted on the manuscript you send, once
A structural edit at ₹2.10 a word on an 80,000-word novel is ₹1,68,000, and that is the figure on the quotation. It is not recalculated when the book grows during editing — a rate that rises every time you take a note is a rate that teaches you to stop taking notes.
